B-I-B-L-E

Fifty pages left for me to quickly skim through before my final in Abnormal Psychology next week. One more week until finals, and skimming isn't the best way to attain all the information that I'm to know. I find myself doing this same habit with the Bible, but, we must realize something...

The Bible is not like any other book, we do not read it as we would any other book, because it is not the same as any other book. The Bible...is more than a volume of hitherto unknown facts about God, man and the universe. It is a book of exhortation based upon those facts. By far the greater portion of the book is devoted to an urgent effort to persuade people to alter their ways and bring their lives into harmony with the will of God as set forth in its pages.

...the Holy Scriptures tell us what we could never learn any other way: They tell us what we are, who we are, how we got here, why we are here and what we are required to do while we remain here.

If you would follow on to know the Lord, come at once to the open Bible expecting it to speak to you. Do not come with the notion that is is a THING which you may push around at your convenience.
